The Start of Something New…

Starting something new is always exciting.  The learning curve of starting this website was not always easy, and I think I’m missing a few hairs today.  At least the foundation has been laid and I can get on with the business of sharing bits of my world with you.

This picture was taken a couple of days ago on a recent trip to a pasture in an area called Polipoli.  The gentle slope and lack of trees makes for the perfect spot to fly gliders, which is what my son has been consumed with lately.  I always enjoy coming here… as the day wears on and the sun sinks slower in the sky, the landscape takes on a golden glow.  I have nothing to do up there except watch and breathe.  I’m always refreshed and in a calm state of mind after visiting this place.

I hope you enjoy this blog as I continue on with my love affair with taking pictures.  Over the next few days, and perhaps weeks, I’ll be “tweaking” it little by little… attending to the details… so in the end I’ll have something special to offer.  Enjoy!

I just read all your posts back to front and just wanted to say how much I LOVE your new format! Yay! Welcome to wordpress, there’s so much to learn, and luckily all sorts of helpful folks out there! I’ve resubscribed so I won’t miss any of your fabulous work! Hooray!
