To answer a question, we are using Yudu screen printing ink. I’m hesitant to put the link here because I purchased this stuff in a local craft store in town not online. But a simple search is all that’s needed. Amazon carries the ink and supplies if you want to explore the world of screen printing.
Today was the last day of leaf-printing in my daughter’s class. These kids surprised me with their enthusiasm and creativity. We found that interesting results came with leaves that have pronounced veins. Layering was also a big hit. Some of the kids even painted the same leaf different colors, and what resulted were leaves that looked like they belonged in a Dr. Seuss tale! From here these masterpieces dry and I’ll heat set them with an iron. I’ll be using a simple square-within-a-square format for the blocks and binding it for use on the bed.
