A Change of Scenery

This is the view from my children’s classrooms.  I often wonder what it would be like to go to school here.  I imagine myself sitting here eating my mid-morning snack and looking at this giant Banyan tree, listening to the mynah birds chatter and watching the wind toss the leaves around.  With the recent rains,...

It’s a wonderful view. If I had this outside my window I would probably never get any work done. :o )

Hi Robin, I’ve been away from your blog for a while. I bought some of your hand dyed silk a few years ago. I found a link to your blog on another site and thought I’d say hi!

Right now I’m missing Maui like crazy so I’m loving your photos of the island. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Robin
I’ve just caught up with your move and your new site. Welcome to WordPress! I know what you mean about the learning curve :-) The book WordPress for Dummies is a good resource but you are probably over the big hump by now!
Happy blogging.

Great bounce back. I’m not surprised that you had a plan B. I look forward to seeing your finished project. I love your background fabrics too. Are they commercial batiks? Have a great vacation.

Great idea! Do you mind if I ask what kind of paint that is in the bottles?

So glad the kids were understanding. If I were them, to me it would be another day for artistic play and that would be fun! Besides it was a good lesson that if something doesn’t work out, try another method and keep moving forward!

Studio Shot

I’ve been busy these past few days… busy at work, that is.  Since I’m a nurse and I work in a hospital, I can’t really show you a shot of my life at work, but I can show you a picture of my other workplace – my studio.  Enjoy… and eat your vegetables for goodness...
