Monthly Archives: March 2010 This is the view from my children’s classrooms. I often wonder what it would be like to go to school here. Hi Robin, I’ve been away from your blog for a while. I bought some of your hand dyed silk a few years ago. I found a link to your blog on another site and thought I’d say hi! Right now I’m missing Maui like crazy so I’m loving your photos of the island. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Robin  To answer a question, we are using Yudu screen printing ink. I’m hesitant to put the link here because I purchased this stuff in a local craft store in town not online. But a simple search is all that’s needed. Amazon carries the ink and supplies if you want to explore the world of screen... by robin 2 comments

Thats such lovely work there, I wonder if this could be used for interior design perhaps?  I broke the news to the kids about how their pounded leaf prints didn’t work and wouldn’t ya know, they were very understanding about it. Not only that they fully embraced “plan – B” by jumping in whole-heartedly! This time around I’m having them use screen-printing paint. So glad the kids were understanding. If I were them, to me it would be another day for artistic play and that would be fun! Besides it was a good lesson that if something doesn’t work out, try another method and keep moving forward!  I’ve been busy these past few days… busy at work, that is. Since I’m a nurse and I work in a hospital, I can’t really show you a shot of my life at work, but I can show you a picture of my other workplace – my studio.
