Monthly Archives: September 2010 Everybody, meet Oliver Bleu! Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, the tip of his ear really IS blue! The breeder needed some way to tell him and his litter mates apart, so she painted their ears different colors. We really liked the name blue, but have decided to spell it a little differently… bleu…...

He is just the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! Then again, what is not to love in a new puppy – I’ve never seen one I didn’t want to take home….

Oh my gosh! We’re in love with Bleu in our house! We’ve had a fantasy dog named “Pablo” here for the longest time (a year or more). We don’t know who he is, but there’s a dog out there for us and his name is Pablo. When I showed Beloved Spouse your post, I got “OH! It’s Pablo!” – we’ll now have to check out some Maltese pups….

Ooooh the puppy is so cute!!! Bleu will be a wonderful addition to your family. The deck will be a wonderful addition too and so worth a few days of chaos.

Awww! What a great puppy! Your household is expanding in many ways!  It’s always good to have choices… even if things feel uncertain and uncomfortable, which is how I’m feeling today about all this. Today’s choices involve the land and the sea. Should I make a shelf or a sloping cliff? Thanks for posting these. I love to see the processes people take. I always love your explosions of color, even if they are little. Yeah for those who are brave with their colors!  This one is coming to me like a dream… I almost have a picture of it, but each time I think hard, the image eludes me. There really is no other way around allowing these ideas to take hold but to pick up the fabric and start cutting. On my mind these days are images... by robin 1 comment

I agree. I want all my quilts to be used and loved and drug all over. I remember when we used my son’s blankie as a barf bag on a long car trip, I felt so bad but my sister in law said ‘as long as it is used and loved it really doesn’t matter what you do with it’. A quick stop at a laundry-mat and all was well.  Things often stack up for me at this time of year… I’m sure many of you are feeling it too. The kids are back in school full-swing and after-school activities keep us busy. We work so hard during the week that on the weekends we end up playing hard as well… surf’s been up and... by robin 3 comments

He’s a Maltese! When he gets older he will have long straight hair… that is if I don’t groom it short!
