Everybody, meet Oliver Bleu! Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, the tip of his ear really IS blue!  The breeder needed some way to tell him and his litter mates apart, so she painted their ears different colors.  We really liked the name blue, but have decided to spell it a little differently… bleu… […]

It’s always good to have choices… even if things feel uncertain and uncomfortable, which is how I’m feeling today about all this. Today’s choices involve the land and the sea.  Should I make a shelf or a sloping cliff? And that ocean… should I include gentle rolling waves, rough waves that peak, or long pointy […]

This one is coming to me like a dream…  I almost have a picture of it, but each time I think hard, the image eludes me.  There really is no other way around allowing these ideas to take hold but to pick up the fabric and start cutting. On my mind these days are images […]

It seems to be the word of the day… Anticipation.  Upstairs the painters are back, once again, thanks to a little change of mind I had with paint colors… ahem.  You would think a colorist like me would be able to see perfectly what a room would look like bathed in a fresh coat, but […]

I’ve done it!  I’ve added many quilts to my little shop!  I’m thrilled to be doing this… it’s a long time in the making.  As you can see I have a variety of quilts here and I think you will find they are priced very fairly.  I took into account originality of design, complexity of […]

In the evening it was hard to leave this space… yet I do have a family, and they need me too… so it was with reluctance I went, all the while thinking to myself there were details with this one that were begging to be resolved. After rising, the studio was the first place I […]
