A Tale of Three Suns… and a Sneak Peek at New Work:

I feel like I’m recanting the “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” story when I tell you this, but really, this is how things went.  My work on my “New Earth” quilt got off to a difficult start due to some issues I’ve had with the sun.  This is one of the most important elements of...

I can’t wait to see more. The sun looks amazing!

Weekend View

On a recent walk I looked up and saw a most glorious site… it was the color chartreuse, one of my favorite all time colors were contrasting brilliantly with a cool blue sky.  I’m not kidding… this photo was not enhanced in any way… it was really that beautiful. I’m so energized by these colors,...

Gorgeous photo!

My westie does the same thing. He’s being all cute and adorable and as soon as the camera comes out, he drops the toy and toddles over to see what I’m doing.

Thank you. This is really helpful for my imaginary future career as a quilt artist :)

Thanks for sharing! I had been thinking of using a system like this but wasn’t sure if it would work. How wide is the widest quilt you would recommend doing this way?

Wednesday View

Sometimes I use fabric which I deem as “dyeing disasters” on the back.  Looking at it now I’m thinking it looks pretty cool!  I started a new two-color quilt series last night… orange and brown!  Just in time for Halloween!
