I can’t wait to see more. The sun looks amazing!  On a recent walk I looked up and saw a most glorious site… it was the color chartreuse, one of my favorite all time colors were contrasting brilliantly with a cool blue sky. I’m not kidding… this photo was not enhanced in any way… it was really that beautiful. I’m so energized by these colors,... by robin 2 comments

Gorgeous photo! My westie does the same thing. He’s being all cute and adorable and as soon as the camera comes out, he drops the toy and toddles over to see what I’m doing. It just nosiness!

Oh what a gorgeous little puppy, just want to snatch him up and cuddle.  Things are looking a little spare on my design wall… … it took me some time to figure out how I was going to place the sun rising over the mountain. I have in mind to sprinkle over this landscape more houses and trees… it will need something else though, nothing comes to mind as... by robin no comments  Before you go to hang your quilt, a sleeve must be attached on the back and a dowel prepared. Depending on the overall size of your quilt, make the sleeve 1-2 inches shorter than your quilt width. Attach it to the back of your quilt with a simple whip stitch and make sure it has... by robin 4 comments

I like the idea of using screw eyes in the dowel end! I always just balance mine on nails, but this adds an extra bit of security. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing! I had been thinking of using a system like this but wasn’t sure if it would work. How wide is the widest quilt you would recommend doing this way?  Sometimes I use fabric which I deem as “dyeing disasters” on the back. Looking at it now I’m thinking it looks pretty cool! I started a new two-color quilt series last night… orange and brown!
