oh my goodness, this looks heavenly. i am jealous – as it’s quite chilly (and sadly snowless!) here in new york city. happy holidays to you and yours. here’s to many fun crafty days ahead!  I’m coordinating a luncheon for the good folks at the Hui No’eau… our local art center. They have a wonderful staff there and the programs that the Hui offers throughout the year are vital to keeping the visual arts alive here on Maui. I think your photos are beautiful and I’m sure everyone will love their card packs. great gift idea! We are planning to stay up for teh eclipse and my fingers are crossed that teh clouds clear at least a little. It’s still raining like crazy over here though.  Our little vacation by the sea is turning out to be far too short for my taste. It seems like at this time of year, it’s nearly impossible to get time to slow down. Before I know it our trip will have ended, Christmas will be here, and the kids will be back to school!... by robin 1 comment

we have snow…. half a foot of snow… sigh. Swap?  School is finally out!! I feel like a kid saying this, but when the kids are on vacation, we get to play! I’m packing today for a short trip to another island. Part of this preparation involves getting my latest little quilts ready for some hand stitching. A wonderful time and holiday for you and your family!  In Hawaii, the majority of our Christmas trees are shipped in. It’s not the most ideal, but it’s a reality of living in a small state in the middle of the Pacific. We are lucky to have a Christmas tree farm that each year has a small collection of Christmas trees to offer. It’s not... by robin 2 comments
