Monthly Archives: December 2011 Wearing pajamas until noon… or later. Rolling yarn into balls… round and round… quietly and quickly. Making crochet hats in different sizes. Visiting a scenic mountain side. Flying airplanes while thick clouds roll in. Snapping pictures of this amazing place. Noticing how the mist changes everything. Feeling romantic and inspired. Wanting desperately to be able...  With my return to work, I’ve had to exist in another side of my brain for a while. In the hospital I’m valued for my ability to think and act quickly, to remember a host of illnesses and treatments, to calculate dosages and to document well. It never fails to amaze me how much work cuts into my creative day. I was just saying that I love my job and love what I do I just wish I didn’t have to do it. I’m fine when I get there. I just don’t want to go.  One of the things I absolutely love about this time of year is the glow of Christmas lights. With the house decked out like this there are many opportunities to take a sparkly photo here and there. These taken with the Lensbaby star aperture and modified with a sepia setting. I love your quilts and photos too. Have been learning to use my camera – plans for the new year include a photography class. I adore your star and animal photos – what a cool thing the lens baby aperture is.  I’m about to tell you about a gift I’m making for my daughter for Christmas. I’m fairly certain I can keep this one a secret… oh, she will be thrilled. Now Shelby is our third child and like other third-borns that I know, she sometimes gets a little less than what the other two get.... by robin 5 comments
