{half moon}

I’ve been thinking about starting a big project lately.  Something special… something with meaning… something with layers of understanding… a departure from my usual work.  It’s about time.  I’ve been reading a lot lately and the other day I stumbled upon a Rumi quote which goes like this: “The moon stays bright when it doesn’t avoid the night.”  When I read it I knew it would provide me with the inspiration I was looking for.  I have in mind to use colors that speak to our ability to see in light and inability to see color in shadow.  Here is my modest start to convey what I hope is something meaningful.  I call it “half moon.”
