I’m really inspired by your orange and brown compositions and they go hand in hand with reading Jean Wells’ book and her small compositions. I am gaining confidence to try working more with solids! Elizabeth’s piece is beautiful – I love that tiny piece of pink just in the corner by her signature.

My daughter created this on the computer… it’s amazing to me to imagine how technology will impact art.  Looking at it I can see she inserted layers and layers of color… the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree!  This piece is scattered, colorful, busy and “LOVE-ly”… much like her.  I’m ooh so proud of...

what beautiful art and message.
I’m taking an acrylic paint class this weekend with my 23 year old daughter. My kids used to have the KidPix program. It had great sound effects with the visual effects too. I’m wondering if I can load it up again for me!!
