New Work

I am finishing up a few projects around here now that my run of classroom quilts is over.  I but the sleeve on this little gem the other day while watching my son ride his bike on the track.  It’s a sweet little piece made while I was pondering triangles.  The quilting is dense and...

New Work…

Just hot off the press!  I’m finished with my little blue quilt!  I’ve listed it in my shop if you are curious! In the meantime, I’m working on a quilt made entirely of lines.  I simply love how delicate they look and the character of those hand-cut lines.  Cheers!

Robin these are lovely – your work is really inspiring me at present and I’m getting to grips with some current WIPs so I’ll be free to get going with some projects on similar lines to what you do

Shop Update and more colorful things

I’ve listed three more small quilts in my shop today.  I simply love the two matching ones… they are practically the same size and made in succession.  The one on the right (as pictured below) seems to me to have large chunky shapes separated by thin lines, and the one on the left seems to...

my simple little Etsy shop

Okay, I’ve done it!  I’ve opened my etsy shop!  I call it simply robin… like, any other name will do!    Already, it’s gotten attention from Simply Divine Desserts, who added my quilt to her treasury,  Dancing in the Moonlight.  Gee, what a compliment!  Anyway, it’s a modest start… I’ll surely add to it in the...

My Latest Quilt, finished!

I love this piece. Even though I can appreciate the work that goes into them, I don’t usually “get” these kinds of pieces. Not that I have to, but your posting the picture that was the inspiration for this piece actually gave me a “DUH” moment. I enjy your postings. I check for them every day.

Robin, This is wonderful! You really captured the depth of the pile of twigs. Way to go! Have a great rest of the week.

I like this piece, especially when you consider the size. Some of those pieces are pretyy small. Do you sew them all or do you do some fusing too?

Hurray!!! More Robin eye candy to get inspired by. Thanks for sharing this, and it is sensational, as usual!
