Just hot off the press! I’m finished with my little blue quilt! I’ve listed it in my shop if you are curious!In the meantime, I’m working on a quilt made entirely of lines. Robin these are lovely – your work is really inspiring me at present and I’m getting to grips with some current WIPs so I’ll be free to get going with some projects on similar lines to what you do  I’ve listed three more small quilts in my shop today. I simply love the two matching ones… they are practically the same size and made in succession. The one on the right (as pictured below) seems to me to have large chunky shapes separated by thin lines, and the one on the left seems to... by robin no comments  Okay, I’ve done it! I’ve opened my etsy shop! I call it simply robin… like, any other name will do! Already, it’s gotten attention from Simply Divine Desserts, who added my quilt to her treasury, Dancing in the Moonlight. Gee, what a compliment! Congrats, Robin! Looks like you are having fun with your new quilts. Your etsy shop is a great idea.  Hot off the press, my latest quilt. As explained yesterday, I’m thrilled with the direction of this new work. It represents a departure from my old work, significant enough to give me new ideas to work from. I love this piece. Even though I can appreciate the work that goes into them, I don’t usually “get” these kinds of pieces. Not that I have to, but your posting the picture that was the inspiration for this piece actually gave me a “DUH” moment. I enjy your postings. I check for them every day.

I like this piece, especially when you consider the size. Some of those pieces are pretyy small. Do you sew them all or do you do some fusing too?
