Mod Blocks

I’m finally recovered from my weekend of events and happy to report both functions were hugely successful… at least, people seemed to have a wonderful time.  The branch chandeliers were a hit… as were the ornaments.  Thankfully, all were bid on.  I’m not sure of the numbers yet, but I’m sure we did well. You beat me to the Butterfly Roof blocks. I love those roof lines and have been looking and plotting, but you created. Love them. Thanks for sharing.

That’s so Mod

I finished my second assignment for the Mid Mod Quilting Bee!  This time it’s Jess’ turn.  As you can tell, I ran out of fabric at the end.  It’s an easy fix on her end.  Hope she likes it!

A Different Kind of Quilting Bee

I’ve been invited to join an online quilting bee called the Mid Mod Quilt Bee.  It’s a different kind of quilting bee, instead of gathering at a someone’s house, we gather virtually… online, and instead of everybody participating in the quilting of a quilt, we are all piecing blocks which are then put together and...
