That’s true for us as well! We were offered the name Isaac, but it never stuck. I wonder how many other gender-misnamed three-legged cats there are out there!

What a wonderful quilt! I am looking forward to seeing your next creation! I too have a three-legged cat who was first thought to be female. He was Ellie for the first 4 months of this life and then the vet informed us that he was Eddie not Ellie and it stuck. He lost his leg earlier this year after a nasty fight with some horrible creature. We only hope Eddie inflicted as much damage! He has no trouble finding his way up on the bed and windowsill and never was a counter cat.

what I lovely quilt. there is something so warm about it, in spite of all the white. I love that your boy cat is called Isabella!

This quilt is so beautiful and the quilting is just perfect. The scene looks so peaceful and happy and colorful. I just love the white space that really shows off the quilting. Awesome!! Your cat is pretty cool too ….

I just love this, Robin – so original and fun. I want to be the baby who gets this. Wait a minute. Why does this have to be a baby quilt? It is a delightful composition that could hang on the wall.

Wow!!!! What a gift you have! Love the colors and the concept.  I’m just loving how these little stars are turning out. Those little centers of red really make them sing. I like how they remind me of one of my favorite blocks the Log Cabin, in which the center squre, often red was the chimney and the strips surrounding it were the logs in the cabin.... by robin no comments by robin no comments  So I have in mind to make a “Starry Night” quilt. I envision the moon and stars… maybe a little town below… something of that nature. So I’m sewing along, using some of the stripped pieces I made last week and things are just not clicking for me. i think that is a fantastic idea. Robin if you need any help with etsy just let me know! its time, in another month etsy will be selling for christmas so now is the time to get that going

Oh yes, the skinnier stars with more “arms” are much sparklier.  I have on my mind the moon and the stars. Working into the night last night, things were barely clicking along… the image in my head was not appearing before me. Suddenly, with time running out and my mind in a panic, I had a glimpse of insight, a small vision into the in-between that... by robin no comments |
