It’s an absolutely beautiful day out there today! We are all enjoying the return of our trade-winds and sunshine! Cheers! (Our son is somewhere out there in the mix!)

When I opened this on my computer the photo unfurled like a scroll. At fist all I saw was the haze and then the riot of color.

Great picture! What beach is this?  One of the things I absolutely love about this time of year is the glow of Christmas lights. With the house decked out like this there are many opportunities to take a sparkly photo here and there. These taken with the Lensbaby star aperture and modified with a sepia setting. I love your quilts and photos too. Have been learning to use my camera – plans for the new year include a photography class. I adore your star and animal photos – what a cool thing the lens baby aperture is.  I took another trip up the mountain yesterday to pick greenery for the Pacific Cancer Foundation event which is scheduled for this Saturday. Taking my time, I also was sure to get in a few shots of this majestic place. Ooh how I wish I could take all of you here… the cool air… the... by robin no comments  I took a walk in the woods today. I was on a mission to collect samples of greenery in preparation for an upcoming holiday event later this year. I was all alone up there in that forest, surrounded by evergreens, eucalyptus and various native shrubbery. A strange combination I know, but still my walk was... by robin 1 comment
