I often think of that song! I love your tall, skinny wavy tree. Very Dr. Seuss.  There is a certain rhythm to all this creativity… inspiration hits, sewing comes swiftly and easily, ideas are worked through, things start slowing down, life takes over, nothing gets done, and I abandon the work until inspiration hits once again. I can absolutely see the importance of brownies! Part of my process involves cleaning all the things I’ve avoided cleaning during the contemplation phase of creating.

That brownie looks delicious …..  It’s always good to have choices… even if things feel uncertain and uncomfortable, which is how I’m feeling today about all this. Today’s choices involve the land and the sea. Should I make a shelf or a sloping cliff? And that ocean… should I include gentle rolling waves, rough waves that peak, or long pointy... by robin 4 comments

Thanks for posting these. I love to see the processes people take. I always love your explosions of color, even if they are little. Yeah for those who are brave with their colors!  This one is coming to me like a dream… I almost have a picture of it, but each time I think hard, the image eludes me. There really is no other way around allowing these ideas to take hold but to pick up the fabric and start cutting. On my mind these days are images... by robin 1 comment
